Skate Parks
in Tampa

Tampa’s skate scene is built around a few heavy hitters: SPoT for the legend status and events, neighborhood parks like Carrollwood Village and New Tampa for all-around sessions, and smaller local spots like Lake Vista and Bro Bowl when you just want to roll without a huge scene. Reviewers keep coming back to the same themes here—solid community, friendly staff, and parks that range from beginner-friendly to full-on destination territory.

If you want the biggest name in town, Skatepark of Tampa is the obvious stop. Reviewers called it a "legendary" park with "3 areas, 2 indoor skatelite one outdoor concrete," while Carrollwood Village Park gets love for being clean, busy, and packed with extras like a pump track and splash pad. New Tampa Community Park is the place people praised for transition riding, a big bowl, and a fast, smooth setup, while Bro Bowl stands out for its downtown vibe and concrete waves.

What Skaters Are Saying in Tampa

Real reviews from the local skate community.

“This is a real nice skatepark, 3 areas, 2 indoor skatelite one outdoor concrete. They do allow non-skateboard riders but it's definitely 90 percent about skateboarders. The ramps and obstacles are varied and in good shape. It was $8 for a day pass, waiver required, no helmet required for skateboards. Everyone else has to wear one.”

— Review of Skatepark of Tampa

“Went to the Tampa Am competition and it was amazing! Great energy, awesome skaters, and the park is legendary. Everything was well-organized with a great vibe. Can’t wait to come back to Skatepark of Tampa!”

— Review of Skatepark of Tampa

“Great skate park with the downtown atmosphere...”

— Review of Bro Bowl Skate Park

“Pretty small and has a little bit of everything with an awesome view of the city. Nice to have something somewhat close to downtown Tampa and I love the wave part for getting better at pumping. Compared to others around the Tampa bay area it is definitely smaller but great for beginners”

— Review of Bro Bowl Skate Park

“Great skatepark, it's not too big, but it has a nice design. The parking lot can fill up fast, but there's spots all around. There's even a pump track next to it which is nice. Weekends are the busiest, so you might want to get there early.”

— Review of Carrollwood Village Park

“Such a great place! Super cool playground, legit gymnastics equipment with ALL the amenities, & classes for the kiddos. The staff has always been super nice. The skate park is great for transition riding! Easily the best around. It is deceiving from outside the gate but once you get in it is fast! Smooth and has a ton of great lines for such a small area.”

— Review of New Tampa Community Park

“Small skatepark prefect for all ages, the park also has a large walking path, small lake and dog park too.”

— Review of Lake Vista Skatepark

“Great place for kids all ages to have a place to skate board without getting harassed by old people. High quality ramps, rails and safe place for kids during the day.”

— Review of Land O' Lakes Skate park
