Dallas has a legit spread of skate spots, from big, technical concrete parks to smaller neighborhood setups and community-driven hangouts. The standout theme from real skaters: when Dallas gets it right, it gets it really right — smooth surfaces, deep bowls, and enough variety to keep street skaters, transition heads, and beginners all busy.
Bachman Lake Skatepark keeps coming up as a monster of a park, with reviewers calling out the huge vert, two bowls, a snake run, and a pump track wrapped into one creative layout. Jon Comer is the other heavy hitter — skaters praise its massive size, smooth flow, and room for every skill level — while 4DWN stands out for its indoor/outdoor setup and community vibe. If you want a smaller, low-key session, Phillip Shelby Hemstock and Oakridge both got love for being good places to learn and practice.

Real reviews from the local skate community.
“Stellar new skatepark in Dallas! Concrete is slick and smooth. Transitions have sharp edges. The two bowls are very nice and a lot of fun. The snake run is an absolute highlight. I love how they integrated a pump track around the top edge of it.”
“One of the best skateparks I’ve been to, and I’ve been to at least 50. Sprawling with plenty of street skating nearly as much transition. All smooth asphalt with metal coping and rails. Great for progression, and plenty of room for everyone.”
“Sick setup throughout the park indoor and outdoor. The owner is generous, awesome, welcoming and genuinely just wants everyone to have the best time possible. They are doing great things for the community there.”
“Great little park. Good for learning and getting some basics down before going to a bigger park. Go when it’s cooler though. Blazing hot and no shade in the middle of the day.”
“This is my home park and I know it look pretty whack and it’s a pre fab junt. But honestly I have had some of the best skate sessions here and the people who come here in the morning are some of the coolest people around. If you’re thinking about checking it out don’t let the photos keep you away come see for yourself.”
